A step-by-step visual story of bringing a classic back to life.
The tractor arrived in rough condition. Hydraulics were not working, and the bodywork had seen better days. However, the tractor was all original and most parts were accounted for.
Major components were stripped down for inspection and repair, including the hydraulics.
Mechanical issues were addressed — the hydraulic problem was caused by a seized cross shaft. Rust removal and deep cleaning were followed by primer and a fresh coat of Massey Ferguson red paint.
Rebuilt components were reinstalled, wiring replaced, and mechanical adjustments made to restore function.
The fully restored MF135 Multipower, running reliably and looking close to factory-new (with some personal touches), ready for show or work.
In loving memory of Raymond Quinn and Patrick (Pat) White — two grandfathers who shared a love of tractors and the hassle that comes with them 🚜.
